About Us
Who We Are
What the heck is the Georgetown Beard Club? The Georgetown Beard Club is comprised of men with hairy faces and even a few women (without hairy faces). But we are much more than that.
First and foremost, we are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. At our core, we are simply a congregation of citizens who are just looking to make our community a better place one small step at a time. We do this by working with or on behalf of local non-profit and other organizations in need to help them carry out their respective missions.
Support from the Georgetown Beard Club can take various forms. We can show up and lend a hand like we did when helping Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County raise the walls for one of the many homes they build for deserving Williamson County families.
We are sometimes blessed to be able to provide financial assistance to organizations whose mission we support. There’s certainly no shortage of worthy organizations in Williamson County. Organizations like the Playful Child Foundation which seeks to turn tragedy into an opportunity to educate the public and honor the memory of a child tragically lost too soon by building a park accessible to children of all abilities and further to provide a space that allows everyone the opportunity to play, relax, remember, and honor children who now live in our hearts and memories.
When funds aren’t readily available, we often put on our own fundraisers, big and small, to raise money in order to support the organizations we love. Our fundraisers have helped numerous organizations including Make-A-Wish, Veteran Outdoors, our local Special Olympics teams, and the Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown.

But at the end of the day, so long as you want to make an impact locally by supporting charitable causes here in Georgetown and Williamson County, everyone is welcome to join our club – man, woman, or child.
